Done by the people at MAHQ.net, the podcast covers a wide variety of topics from what is going on in the franchise, to discussions on the various series, to the state of mecha anime in america itself, and much more.

All you will need is at the link above. You'll need to go all the way back to earlier pages to find download links to all the episodes however. Each episode is about 2 hours long and with the exception of the first 4 episodes, comes with or without background music to listen to during the podcast. (Unplugged = no music)

As you may or may not be able to guess, my Detroit Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup in 6 games over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

As a devoted fan for the last 13 years, I am very happy with this result.
The victory parade down Woodward is on Friday, and while I don't think I'll be there in person, I will be watching on TV at least.

25 years ago at the very moment I am typing this I was making things rather unpleasant for my mother as I was about to enter the world.
These years since then have definitely been interesting.
With any luck the next 25 will be just as interesting if not more so than the last. I certainly hope so.

sent out the call went out to all SRW fans, and thus as one I must reply. It was not easy to come up with answers to these.

1.- What's your favorite Super Robot?

Considering question #3 this is a unit originateing outside SRW. In that case it has to be the Gunbuster. This thing can take on thousands, that right thousands, or enemies both grunt, high power, and warship grade units and win all on its own. Some might say it is a real robot, but considering that this thing can match up and argueably exceed the Ideon in terms of conventional firepower, that puts it in the realm of the super robot in my book.

2.- What's your favorite Real Robot / Mech?

This one is much easier. It is actually a too-close-to-call situation so I gave them both a tie at #1. Those units are the RX-93 Nu Gundam www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/cca/… , and the Gundam F91 www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/… . Both hailing from the only two original Gundam movies these units when used by thier respective pilots are nothing short of awe inspireing. The Nu Gundam piloted by legendary ace Amuro Ray is argueably the iconic unit for the franchise 2nd perhaps only to the original Gundam. Where the F91 is much smaller (15 meters as opposed to 23 with Nu) but just as powerful and much faster and more manuverable, and has one of the most powerful real robot beam weapons ever.

3.- What's your favorite Banpresto Original unit?
So many cool ones to chose from...
Anyway that would be the SRX Altered Banpreios en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRX_Alte… . Which just happens to be my avatar at this time.

4.- What's your favorite special attack or weapon?

This was the hardest one of the bunch as there are so many cool and damageing attacks out there.
I would have to say anything that Zengar can do in Daizengar with his Zankantou sword.

5.- And finally... Who's your favorite pilot?

It is impossible for me to pick just one above all others, there are simply too many great pilots out there.
Banpresto original pilot: Ryusei Date srwog.velv.net/og_char/ryuusei… . I just like the guy for some reason. Outside OG: Domon Kasshu www.gundamofficial.com/worlds/… . His moves and abilities are incredible. Plus if he doesn't have a move for the situation at hand, he has the ability to simply pull something out of his rear that fits the situation perfectly and claim victory. Ya gotta love that.
